BUSKERS THE MUSICALor "BIRDS" THE MUSICAL/BALLET

  i proposed a summer busker competition to the tourist board -there used to be a summer busker competition although  i havn't heard anything since.-in the meantime ive jotted a few ideas for two seperate musicals - i do picture art so well out of my usual area all the same might be something in it needs a few experts to put it together.

 

A CELEBRATION OF THE BUSKERS OF TRURO

 IT REALLY IS A GREAT LITTLE CITY OF MUSIC IN SUMMER.

A NEW MUSICAL IN THE MAKING FOR THE FUTURE WHEN THE VIRUS IS BEHIND US.

WHO KNOWS THE SHOW  MIGHT HAPPEN ONE DAY !

Buskers from the streets of Naples to the streets of Truro

      THE STORY IS : THE BUSKERS OF TRURO GET TOGETHER TO

PUT ON THEIR OWN MUSICAL FEATURING SOME OF THE BEST 

HIT MUSIC OF THE LAST 100 YEARS OR ,SO BUT AS YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN THEM BEFORE IF MUSIC NEEDS MORE THAN ONE INSTRUMENT THEY WILL COME TOGETHER TO HELP EACH OTHER AS A GROUP  THE WHOLE CHOREOGRAPHED TO DANCE  AND POETRY AND BROUGHT TOGETHER AT THE END BY A SPECIAL RENDERING OF THE SONG "I DID IT MY WAY" (PICTURE 29 IN THE ART SHOW )

THE SHOW OPENS WITH A VERSION OF  THE MUSIC  "FANFARE TO THE COMMON MAN " BY AARON COPELAND IF POSSIBLE .

FEATURING ALL THE FOLLOWING -THESE CAN BE FOUND ON "THE STREETS OF TRURO AT DIFFERENT TIMES ..

AND THE MUSICAL AIMS TO BRING THEM ALL TOGERTHER.

A" BALLET PIECE" BASED ON BIRDS -"THE DANCE OF THE BIRDS" BASED ON THE VERY INDIVIDUAL MOVEMENTS OF BIRDS THAT SHARE  TRURO STREETS  eg THE CROW AS DISTINCT FROM THE MAGPIE.-WITH POSSIBLY A  HUMEROUS DANCE BASED ON THE PIGEON ! AND OF COURSE THE SEAGULL AND THE BLACKBIRD.

ALSO SINGLE DANCE PIECES TO GO WITH SOME OF THE  INDIVIDUAL BUSKERS MUSIC.

   THE ABOVE ARE THE BUILDING BLOCKS OF A MUSICAL SO WATCH THIS SPACE.!

                                             "BIRDS"

THERE MAY WELL BE TWO seperate WORKS HERE :A MUSICAL "BUSKERS" AND A BALLET / MUSICAL "BIRDS" IN THE SAME SPIRIT AS "CATS" THE BIRDS COULD BE TOWN BIRDS AND NATIVE -TO IDENTIFY ALL THAT IT NEEDED  COLOUR-DANCERS  eg red and brown -ROBIN , black CROW ,black and white MAGPIE, light grey SEAGULL white SWAN,and for a splash of colour to could have the yellow and black of the BULFINCH , and for mass effect how about some blue skylarks , finally the bird of pray to cause mischief scarlet and light brown .they dont need to look like birds the colour and movements will do that -all that is needed is music and choreography -native birds on stage surely is as good as cats! and as far as i know just waiting to be done
