 the people did take her into their hearts , and the song"Candle in the Wind " sung by Elton John at the time captures the feeling of the peoples loss.

    Diana did what she thought was right regardless of criticism, she was the first shake the hand of a Aids   patient end end the taboo over Aids, and  turned the tide to giving love not condemnation.

 The picture shows Diana on a mission to ban personnel mines in Africa working for the red cross,again the 1st public figur to help in this way.
