It is  1429  England had  laid siege to the French city of Orleans. Joan just 18 took up arms inspired by voices from God ,and led her countrymen to victory , later to be captured and martyred.

      These are her own words spoken by her at her "trial" in 1431

                   Asked about her mission she replied

                        I WAS BORN FOR THIS

​

                     Asked who her Lord was she replied

                       HE IS THE KING OF HEAVEN

​

                     Asked if she was afraid

                       I FEAR NOTHING FOR GOD IS WITH ME.
